Dick Robinson NCH/Arb, Managing Director became interested in trees as a volunteer with the practical conservation organisation BTCV.  He gained further practical experience in tree surgery before taking the course in Arboriculture at Merrist Wood, Guildford, after which he set up the tree surgery business in Oxfordshire.  This was a major change in career after nursing in the Royal Army Medical Corps and in vehicle mechanics, both being extremely valuable skills in a high risk and increasingly mechanised industry.

Jane Cotton BSc Hons, Administrative Director gained administrative skills whilst working for corporate and educational establishments prior to joining the company full time in 1994.  She has a particular interest is in the conservation and environmental aspects of tree work.
